Children of Love

Matthew 19:14

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Matthew 18:3

And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the Kingdom of heaven.

We live in a society that often appears neglectful or, even worse, abusive to children. All adults were once children, and one would expect that due to this shared experience, a more mature pedagogy, highly respectful towards children, would have been cultivated throughout the centuries.

To our extreme misfortune, however, as time progresses, we come to the painful realization that society’s attitude becomes all the more disturbingly and dangerously destructive towards the sensitive psyche of any young person entering this utterly limited four-dimensional plane of consciousness we perceive as matter.

Suppose we deem our Lord, God, and Savior is the eternally bright spiritual Sun whence from all experience and existence emanates. In that case, children are His spiritual rays coming into this material vessel we perceive as the biological body to guide and assist us in the process of rediscovering and reclaiming our very essence. They come to remind us of the true path and mode of being we gradually lose contact with as life progresses.

The material vessel we call ‘the body’ with all its biological and cognitive faculties is restricting and limiting, a mold shaping and misshaping, forming and deforming our spirit the way a glass transfers its shape to liquids. Children come as entities of pure existential and cosmic light to illuminate and revitalize this world. Yet, as a society, we often treat them disrespectfully, neglecting and bypassing their emotional needs as a mere nuisance.

This attitude is profoundly destructive for children and our common fate as fundamental units and representatives of humanity. In a sense, a parent mistreating his offspring and devaluating the gift of life an innocent, wonderful child comes into this world to offer resembles a drowning person resisting its rescuer, or even worse, trying to drown him too.

The fact that babies, infants, and toddlers are often unable to verbalize and externalize their needs or the fact that they seem “cute” to an adult does not diminish their vast importance and value. They are brilliant entities of light coming to free us from the oppressive bond of sin and the barren darkness of our existence, deprived of the divine force of love that is the source of our consciousness and the more profound meaning and cause of our presence in this world.

It is permissible or at least justifiable in a sense for a parent to be somewhat unprepared and not fully aware of the unique value of the child. Still, it is an affront to the Lord to abuse, scandalize, or mistreat this little angelic representative of God’s generosity, love, and mercy towards us.

One also needs to stay reminiscent of the fact that children are not just a source of pure energy and light for this world but little heaven-sent entities created in the inner likeness of our heavenly Father. This view does not in any sense imply that we need to cage our children in an attempt to protect them. It is rather a stimulus encouraging us to find the ideal balance between protection and freedom, progressively advancing from the former stage to the latter, as the child develops into a fulfilled, amazing and unique person expressing its essence and serving its divine purpose.

According to Matthew 19:14, we see our Lord’s desire to bless and accept the children. He asks His disciples to stop hindering the young children from coming close to Him. Perhaps some think this event is not of major significance, and yet, examined under the scope of our Lord’s great mission, it will be proved a teaching of vast importance.

In essence, Jesus expresses the desire of the Father and Creator for His brilliant spiritual rays expressed in the material world in the form of bright new entities to ascend to the level of true being that Christ Himself represents. That does not imply that all children, even in an ideal world, can ascend to the state of divinity as some modern theories suggest. They can, however, become a true representation of our Lord, God and Creator in this barren material plane. They can realize all their hidden potential and revitalize the human consciousness through the expression of their unique essence, rendering them special and precious in the eyes of our Lord. In that sense, our Lord expresses God’s desire for the little person believing in Him to be allowed to transcend the values of this world and embrace the heavenly values of God’s divine Kingdom.

Often without realizing it, parents become agents of the worldly values that mislead and hinder us from embracing our deeper path, the unique path meant for us to externalize our deepest existential essence. It is often difficult for a parent to accept that his child can often teach him amazing things.

Children are not little containers meant to curry our inner burden, trauma, and pain. They are the true representatives of our Lord, coming to bring the sacred light of our Father back in our lives. They are not sacrificial lambs; they are healers and teachers. Unfortunately, many of us becoming parents are totally unprepared to accept the little angels into our lives with gratitude and the conscious knowledge that our children have the power, if we allow them, to reawaken us and assist us in the process of healing our trauma through the power of their inner connection with the source of love and life.

Let’s face it! Most of us were victimized to some extent, abused, and/or neglected throughout our lives, and many of us are in real danger of passing on our trauma to our children. If we do not consciously resist this desire, we will face the dire threat of existential damnation, and we will also drag our bright children sent by heaven to the same darkness and inner suffering that has plagued us.

One may be tempted to think that good intentions are enough to resist this urge to pass on our trauma. However, it is not that simple. Human beings are often manipulated by the ungodly system, material and worldly, and supernatural or spiritual. The sad fact is that this system does not give anything without pressuring a human being to make substantial existential compromises. One cannot expect to remain a decent, good, and honest person and at the same time enjoy freely and abundantly the benefits and comforts this unholy system has to offer.

Mark 8:36

What good is it for someone to gain the whole world yet forfeit their soul?

However, if we compromise, the cost is steep, and the penalty we will face is vast in comparison. Our soul is our true self, the person we come into this world to be. If one loses his very inner identity, then who will enjoy these coveted comforts, if not the fake demonic self that will be formed to fill the void that the absence of our true self leaves behind.

There is another equally grave aspect of the subject. If we yield to the vile urge to pass on any form of trauma, we will justify our own abuse and forfeit the right to be eternally compensated by our Lord. We will lose the right to request compensation for what we’ve been through or the just punishment of those that wronged us.

Matthew 18:6

If anyone causes one of these little ones–those who believe in me–to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

Luke 11:11

Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead?

The sad truth is that many parents give serpents to their children instead of fish in this day and age. That, of course, is metaphoric yet accurate. If a child requires love yet his parent hurts, neglects, and abuses it, it becomes painfully clear that he or she cannot in any sense be considered as a parent. On the contrary, the abusive parent needs to be viewed by the child itself and ideally by society too as the child’s enemy, a person deprived of the right to expect, let alone demand any form of respect from his or her victim.

The child must reject the abusive parent altogether for its own sake and the sake of its future offspring. If a child does not deny his abusive or neglectful parent, it is doomed to pass on the trauma to the next generation, and this quickly evolves into a vicious circle without end.

It would be helpful to mention that nowadays, humanity’s benefit is to reject the old values in favor of new, more viable ones to achieve a condition that will enable us to secure a future as a species on this planet.

Throughout the previous centuries, man was considered a number and a meaningless part of a mindless unintelligent mass destined to be controlled by a system favoring every sort of wickedness and evil. However, as time progresses, it becomes evident that, gradually, any form of occupation based on the mechanic execution of any task will be rendered obsolete with the rise of artificial intelligence. After all, what human being can do anything mechanic better than a machine? Our very mode and way of thinking are proving to lead our whole species to our extinction. In this sense, our very uniqueness will need to be cultivated and expressed to make us relevant for the humanity of the future.

It is necessary to point out that particular views expressing the idea that a merging of human beings with machines is inevitable and the only path to survival for the human race are most likely being promoted by specific ungodly centers of power and that one needs to be incredibly diligent to avoid misinformation and manipulation by the current prevalent and deeply nonspiritual system.

Another misleading idea promoted is that the only jobs with a future are related to programming, A. I., and generally modern advanced technology. That is a blatant deception with the sole purpose to hasten humanity’s degradation to a mechanic and organic form of intelligence deprived of a deeper mental, emotional, aesthetic, and spiritual dimension.

Of course, it isn’t easy in any way to abandon the belief that the intelligence quotient (I. Q.) is everything a person needs to survive and thrive on the material plane of existence. After all, it separated man from beast and allowed homo sapiens to make his life easier by creating progressively more advanced and evolved technology. However, this assumption is not entirely accurate. The logic we’ve built our entire existence on is based on antithesis, its main flaw. We feel we are free in thought and action when our mode of viewing, experiencing, and interacting with the world is, in essence, predetermined and constrained by this limited logic. We enjoy almost obsessively everything based on antithesis.

Let’s take chess, for example. This little square black and white world is the most characteristic game based on this black and white antithetical logic. On the other hand, we have alienated our experience from actually enjoying variety and uniqueness. Most often than not, we consider anything varying from the norm as a form of threat.

The type of these differences is irrelevant. As long as another person is different than us, we feel threatened. An intolerance regarding religion, creed, race, skin color, intelligence, emotional or otherwise, taste in music, differences in clothing and appearance, even at the subconscious level, make us doubt our own choices. The main culprit for this is precisely this type of logic on which we have based our technology, especially the leading and most dangerous of our creations: Artificial Intelligence (A.I.)

In the Old Testament, this limitation is considered to initiate the fall of man from God’s grace, the taste of the fruit of the tree of knowledge. Not any knowledge but precisely that of good and evil. If one thinks carefully about it, this fundamental distinction guides our whole life. We try to assess whether an action is good or evil, positive or negative, desirable or deplorable. Then we choose whether we will act based upon this distinction in a specific way.

Interestingly enough, this is an age where the path we chose often is the exact opposite of what we consider proper existentially. We do evil not out of weakness but by an unwholesome and vile attraction towards the forbidden. We act entirely oppositely than what our conscience dictates. We take a morbid and self-destructive pleasure from doing evil and depraved acts engrossed instead of discouraged by the idea of punishment heavenly or worldly.

That, of course, is not always the case. However, this mode of behavior slowly but surely becomes more prevalent than ever. We expose the younger generations to extreme virtual violence and vulgarity. That may seem harmless, but in fact, it exposes a young person’s soul to all forms of ugliness and separates it from the most sensitive and precious part of our inner life, the childlike dimension of our being, seeking pure and untainted beauty. It becomes unable to enjoy anything other than horror and wickedness of every sort and form. Then due to our spirit’s essential ability to externalize and form its reality into the three-dimensional plane of matter and flesh, this condition will surely manifest this violence as a real condition in that person’s life and endanger or even seal its eternal fate. When a young person engages in virtual violence, it deepens the gap between the inner poles of good and evil related to the human race’s existential fall from the grace of our Creator.

Unfortunately for humanity, for more than two thousand years, we’ve been unable to experience and feel the truth that was staring us right in the eye: that man is more than a biological machine destined for the consumption of earth’s resources. Man has an immaterial dimension and a mind able to find the truth beyond the constrictions of logic and is ordained for beauty and spiritual light.

Connection with God is more than simple faith to an immaterial force having created this world. It is a deep connection to the one and only Person of persons and Being of beings. To retain unity and coexistence with the ultimate truth, existential light, and profound energy of love emanating from the all-important Consciousness giving birth and forming our reality, we will need to be reunited and reconnected with our very essence and rediscover our divine mission in this world. Only when we transcend and ascend above and beyond inner division will we be able to be reunited with our Loving and all-powerful Father and Lord of Hosts, the ruler of every creative sentient force acting upon and constantly forming, reforming, and transforming the cosmos.

We need to reevaluate and reexamine our values and gaze within, directing our attention towards the immense and infinite essence, way beyond what we deem our identity and consciously accepted self. As long as the base upon which we build our life is not solid and true, our very being is at risk and danger of collapsing into an abysmal nothingness, empty, meaningless self-preservation in an endless hunt for superficial pleasure, dooming us into an eternity of painful separation from the one and only true Being.

True life’s path searches for the heavenly treasure, a most glorious form of experience and existence. Our inner child is constantly magnetized and drawn by this life that we can only achieve through unity with Christ, our Lord, King, and savior. But since this world is consciously bent on keeping us apart from this true path, it traumatizes us to force our inner child to withdraw. At the same time, what little part of our consciousness we manage to keep intact is directed towards a meaningless, void, and barren self-preservation, a survival that, even though thirsts for meaning, is utterly and conclusively deprived of substance and purpose.

That is why our Lord wishes little children to be allowed to come towards him. That doesn’t mean only the actual children but also the wounded child hidden into our grown body as a captive. Through unity with our Lord, only this child can express the deeper wondrous essence that we are to defend and express in this limiting level of consciousness, this fourth-dimensional plane that creates the illusion of space-time perceived by the conventions of primitive senses evaluated by a clumsy hindering logic.

Even though we deem all these experiences solid, they are nothing more than imperfect projections of an utterly insufficient view. A set of values governs them in a place of temptation, trial, and destiny of sorts that, if we do not remain vigilant, is finally leading to peril, doom, and inner decay.

So where lies our salvation if not in the seed we came as infants endowed with? That is the secret essence of man’s divine likeness to the Creative Force of cosmic awareness, Being of beings, High Creator of everything, and ultimate cause of the worlds, forming the unified, universal experience of existence for all forms of consciousness.

Learn to love and accept this child once again! This child is a teacher sent from heaven with infinite potential and worth. Through this child, you will rediscover Christ, the only path leading to the divine Author and Creator of cosmic and universal destiny, and of a perfect design for achieving conscious purity and ascension to a level of utter fulfillment and beauty.

Thank you.
