Adam’s second chance

We are all familiar to some extent with the fall of our nature, as it is depicted in Genesis through the deeply existential symbolic representation of the fruit of knowledge of good and evil. Symbols are needed to express the deep bond between the unit (man) and infinite (GOD). Adam’s deepest and most essential purpose is to achieve a truly perfect and complete union with the dual nature of Christ representing the perfect expression of both divinity and humanity in harmonious co-existence.

What we are not completely aware of however is that every man, woman, and child that has ever walked on earth is, in fact, the same person: Adam, the one and only person. It takes a level of internal maturity to accept the fact that the fall of man is not an event that occurred at some obscure historical moment in linear time, but a timeless drama taking place inside all of us from the moment we are born to the day we transcend the material plane.

We need to briefly examine the very form and epicenter of our existential fall. It has nothing to do with carnal intercourse as certain naive and puritan theological views would attempt to conveniently and hastily argue. It has to do with the very concept of antithesis and duality of our limited human perception. The very basis of our flawed analytical logic.

The faulty function of our reasoning capabilities is easily shown if we consider this phrase: “the sentence you are now reading is false”. The mental vicious circle created when we try to access the validity of such a statement proves that the way we construct our ideas, the very foundation on which we base our whole system of thought, and how our mind is trained to process reality is utterly and inadvertently false.

Mathematics is based on certain axioms that can’t according to science be proved and analyzed further to solidify their validity. On assumptions that seem to us logical and true without actual proof. Once these axioms are accepted, theorems may be further explored and proved. However, we need to consider a rather terrifying yet valid possibility. The possibility that all our collective so-called knowledge, on which any single one of our ideas was based, as it has been till now expressed verbally or symbolically, mathematical geometric or otherwise, all our treasury filled with generally accepted and established facts is totally inaccurate and utterly misleading.

After we accept this truth we need to spot the basic errors and flaws not only of the scientific method used by scholars and scientists of all time to prove and disprove mathematical, philosophic, and theological theories but of the whole foundation of the colossal logical structure humanity have assumed to be valid.

As an example: we often ask the question “Can the cosmos be created out of thin air, from nothing?”. This seems far-fetched and difficult to swallow. Yet, since from elementary we learn that the first number is zero followed by all other numbers from the single unit to the infinite, we find it impossible to conceive that this basic knowledge we’ve accepted as obvious is completely and utterly irrational.

Nothing can come from nothing so nothing did come from nothing. What would be the consequence if, instead of beginning to count from zero, we began to count from the infinite. What if before the big bang the base condition is not nothingness but an infinite existence so full of essence that it would be perfectly easy to create “nothingness” “zero” and then fill this zero with everything we can ever conceive as existence, consciousness, and intelligence.

If we want to be accurate we may say our logic is zero-centric, when in fact there is a higher form of conceiving, thinking, and processing phenomenological information in an infinite-centric way. Even though this is a fascinating subject, it deserves further analysis and we don’t want to stray far beyond the scope of this short article. In essence, there are two things we need to clarify to accurately guide the reader to the central core of the general subject of this study.

The first is the whole concept of time. Time is not a linear, scalar quantity it is not even circular. True-time is rather a single point, an eternal moment if you like, containing the wholeness and entirety of our existence. Adam and Christ exist simultaneously in this unique moment. As the two sides of ultimate perfection purity and completeness, alpha and omega, image and likeness to God. Christ as the ultimate redeemer, savior, and healer of our spiritual sickness brought His Word, filled with the divine Spirit of our Creator and heavenly Father, to reveal the Truth and to offer us the one path to eternal life, the key to wisdom.

Wisdom and knowledge are not two synonyms expressing the same concept but opposites. One cannot partake in the revealed through our inner vision enoratic Wisdom and to the worldly so-called knowledge, based on antithesis and inner struggle of opposing forces. The first condition is harmony, the second is disarray. So, to recapitulate and encompass this information to our general understanding, we will highlight these points: the existential fall of man has to do with the descending of an all containing eternal moment to a linear concept of eternity and an embrace of the two seemingly opposing, yet equally harmful, existential directions that of good and that of evil.

When I say that the concept of good is as harmful as that of evil, obviously the first reaction will be that of doubt and suspicion, yet give me the time to elaborate. Good has to do with compulsion a great “I must”, I must love my neighbor, I must extend this love and acceptance to my enemy or foe, or an “I must not”, I must not kill, I must not be unfaithful to my spouse, etc. However human beings cannot direct their actions according to anything compulsive as the very narration of Genesis reveals. Many are attracted by the forbidden, they are not discouraged from the unlawfulness or wicked nature of an act they are rather charmed, attracted, and magnetized by the very thing they are told not to do and see it as an exertion of freedom to succumb to any wicked thought and impulse precisely because it is forbidden.

So what we need is not compulsion but a truly deep desire to love and express love to our fellow human beings and neighbors and show kindness in a way that promotes our own happiness and fulfillment. We only need to realize as human beings that God is not an oppressing tyrant but a loving Father who infinitely desires our happiness contentment and loves us immensely. That he is not the one banning us from the condition of innocence and inner light, our “Eden” but instead that we chose to distance ourselves from Him and that we are free to return willingly to His infinite love and protection by simply deciding to accept and embrace true happiness and fulfillment once more.

Now there is one more thing we need to clarify. Who exactly is “We”? We are all the same person Adam. The same Adam that abides in you abides also in me in our children in our siblings and neighbors. Each life that has ever existed on this earth was, is, and will be another chance for the universal man Adam to make the right choice.

So everyone is special. Every one of us is an expression of a unique essence of special beautiful magic that can only exist in this unique instance. We are ONE and we are also a UNIQUE essence indispensable to the very collective spirit of humanity “Adam”. In a sense, we are the living cells of Adam and we have one common mission, to mature spiritually to become living breathing cells of The Savior, The Anointed One, The Son of God, Christ.

Adam represents the natural innocence and perfection of a pure newborn Child that is not consciously aware of how precious this freely given by the Father and Creator innocent perfection is. Christ represents the conscious elevation of Man back to the blessed and complete state of unity with God. Excuse me for the analogy but if Adam is the pro-nymph he assumes his final form in the person of Christ the complete Psyche. Symbolically speaking the fully formed butterfly.

So what is truly any form of a shadow, of absence in the bright completeness of Godly existence, what is sin and wickedness if not a mere shadow, an open parenthesis meant to close forever? So what have WE as Adam to do? What constitutes salvation?

Most of us, when we hear that we need salvation we probably imagine that we need to be saved by the torment of eternal fire, but, since we have little idea what is heaven like, there is little positive incentive to seek the deliverance of our inner Adam.

One thing we can say is that when in heaven, one feels like a little drop of existence surrounded by a vast ocean of unconditional Love. How do we know? Well, we know because the Messiah told us that God is Love and we are also aware that God is infinite, omnipresent, and unlimited. We also know that God is light and light reveals colors. However, since a spiritual entity is not restricted by the limitations of our five senses, especially vision, we can deduct that the kind of light we experience in the afterlife reveals an infinite plethora of brilliant immensely vibrant colors.

When we mention color it would be wrong of us to remain on the superficial side of things. Colors in the spiritual sense are not just radiation or a frequency in a vast color spectrum translated by the limited material brain of flesh into a sensation it can perceive and process. In a spiritual world, like everything else, color is much more than what it is in this limited world of meaningless experiences and phenomena. It is rather the expression of a spiritual condition, a living entity filled with vast and great magic and a form of cosmic ecstasy, one can freely enjoy in the love of our Godly Father and Creator.

Henceforth it can only be conceived if we imagine what it would be like if we could travel to a whole other world. What else do we know? That those of us that thirst for truth will feel quenched since Christ does not just speak the truth. He IS the truth so we will be fully aware of the deep essence of existence, freed from the anxiety and agony of the unanswered eternal questions and, since we will partake to the source of eternal life, we will be free of death and the pain of separation from a dearly loved one or of life itself.

Well, all these things sound heavenly no pun intended, but what can any one of us do, to partake in the joy of being one with the godly and divine bliss. No need to say that the right comprehension of the Word given to us by the Savior must be the foundation on which our existential transformation must be based. For many centuries an intentional effort by opposing forces directed against the true comprehension of the holy scripture has been made and much of our predominant theology was built through the adoption of misconceptions and faulty doctrine in no way related to the teaching of Christ.

Salvation by grace alone with no works is an especially dangerous idea that endangers and hinders many people from their elevation to a higher level of existential quality and the heavenly realm. When we want to lose weight we all know full well what would make that happen. The basic elements are two. We know we need to pursue our final goal through both a passive and an active approach. We need to abstain from certain things such as fattening food and introduce certain elements such as the exercise of some form.

Yet when it comes to our spiritual ascension to a higher level or seeking our salvation we act as if we don’t know the first thing about how we should go about achieving it. What is needed is simply a passive and energetic strategy to achieve our goal passively through abstaining from sin, fasting, and wicked thoughts and actively through good works of charity, and of expressing through conscious active goodness our love to our neighbor and our fellow human beings.

For these two approaches to work, however, there is a deeper prerequisite that our Lord took the body of a man and experienced our human pains and woes for it to be revealed. This prerequisite is also the main reason for which we try to abstain from sin and strive actively to do good works. This is a prerequisite to better ourselves on a level of intention and improve our quality as human beings. To cultivate our inner goodness and help it to develop and grow as a holy seed.

What good is it to act nicely on the surface when deep inside we have nothing but harshness? The point, even if it seems to be an oxymoron, is to pursue salvation, not to avoid hellish torments and gain the glorious bliss of heaven, but to do what we can for another human being out of real compassion, love, and sympathy for his earthly pains and ailments. The point is not to act nicely but to become truly good out of desire and interest for the happiness of another person, even if this person happens to be completely different from us on a superficial level in race, creed, and life choices.

At our core, we are all the same “Adam” the true and eternal human being and we need to become expressions of God the Son, Christ. We have been given a second chance to make the right choice to deny listening to the venomous words of the serpent and trust the Word of our immense and eternal caring Father. We can ask Him to take in His kind hands our life, everything we own, and everything we are, to become the means of creation and establishment of His Kingdom and Reign in this world.

If as humanity we manage to supervene our pride and self-glorification and humbly ask our Lord to take in His hands our life and guide us to the light with faith and conviction, we will be delivered and gain the immense Joy of His heavenly reign and we will also help save the future human beings from extinction and this hospitable planet from becoming an uninhabitable barren wasteland by our immaturity and greed.

God bless you and stay safe.

From Adam to Jesus – The two sides of perfection By Daphne Yakinthou

From Adam to Jesus – The two sides of perfection

When a child is born, is it perfectly free of sin or one more carrier of the primal stain of disobedience to our God and Creator passed on by Adam to his offspring both figuratively and literally?

Affected by his Gnostic background, St Augustin theorized that all men are inherently more evil than good and essentially sinful. This theory, combined with apostle Paul’s teaching, that no good works can offer man paradise by merit alone created a greatly disturbing mixture affecting the position of churches, denominations and predominant theology for centuries.

However, one only needs to observe a newborn baby for a while to see that it cannot partake in any form of evil at the time of its birth. A child has no wicked thoughts. It only requires love, nurturing, and protection. But, then, through a slow, methodical procedure enforced upon it by the unholy system controlling our society, it becomes susceptible to corruption. That happens when, at a very young age, it is traumatized by abusive or neglectful parenting, when its natural needs are being twisted and used by abusive or neglectful adults in the child’s environment.

This pain and trauma can leave a child deeply wounded emotionally and internally scarred for life. If the kingdom of God had been truly established on this earth, children would be revered as God’s true representatives.

Mark 9:37

“Whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him who sent Me.”

However, in this world, children are often treated as carriers of the sinful burden of our collective inner identity as human beings by the adult members of society and by the system of corruption. We sugarcoat our corruption and pass it on to our children, hiding it behind bunnies with innocent cartoon faces, red saints in slays with flying reindeers, and little wizards and witches. We also bribe them often with sweet treats, soft drinks, and mechanical gadgets.

But that does not change the fact that human nature is corrupted to its core on the level of materialistic values, antagonism, greed, violence, and sickening lustful spectacles. No amount of sugarcoating can make the dramatic reality less real or menacing. This skeleton is a bit too bothersome to stay in the darkness of our mental, spiritual and emotional closet. We need to face this frightening monster in what little time remains.

The following view will perhaps be unacceptable to some readers. Yet, it is perfectly possible and likely if one is positively inclined toward stepping outside of the limitations and restrictions imposed on our collective mind by the prevalent church. This concerns particularly the common believer who often does not invest the time needed to thoroughly examine his beliefs on faith, spirituality, and theology.

We often listen to scientists and pastors debating the validity of the old testament and its credibility as a historical source. It is evident and justifiable that the reader has formed a particular position regarding this subject; however, one needs to keep an open mind and maintain an informed view. He should carefully examine any issue, including his beliefs on things he feels very strongly about, lest he falls prey to misinformation and falsehood. After all, some debaters would stoop down to any level of trickery and sophistry only to win an argument regardless of its foundational validity or credibility.

The view endorsed in this post is that evolution and creation are two opposite yet equally valid views that can coexist if one thinks of Eden as a middle condition between the purely material plane and the spirit realm we tend to refer to as heaven or paradise. In that sense, our forefather Adam represents the collective consciousness of humanity before Adam’s falling out of divine grace and descending to the material realm of flesh and vile instinct.

Hence evolution becomes an acceptable condition regarding the creation of the many bodily vessels the fragmented Adam broke into, thus fathering the race of human beings. Plato, the ancient Greek pillar, no pun intended, of Greek philosophy, conceived a realm of ideas as a condition where every prototype and mental deduction of logic abides. A place of profound truth and ideal prototypes, where the mundane and shadowy world of imperfection and matter emanates from.

This world, in a sense, even though the one having conceived it was an idolater Greek philosopher, maybe paralleled with Eden of Judaic tradition. The ancient philosophers had more tools than barren logic to explain, comprehend and interpret the world of phenomena and the surrounding conditions allowing them to exist. They had enorasis, the ability to transcend the senses and attain wisdom with the inner vision of the mind, ability sadly declinιng all the more often in the western world.

Data and input stacked with rampant, often useless information have replaced the ability of man to envision and connect with higher truths. Truths that, even though often snubbed in the light of modern scientific theories and findings, can produce constructive, fruitful views and assist modern man in the task of making some sense out of this seemingly chaotic and aimless bundle of mostly trivial, unconnected events we call life.

Somehow, the whole course of man in life ideally should have been a passage from the Eden of innocence to the paradise of conscious perfection; a state attained through sincere love and service to others; a state of eternal bliss and fulfillment of a profound loving union with the Father and Creator of all.

The Garden of Eden is more a condition of the mind, soul, and spirit, a state of spiritual unity and closeness of our being to the cosmic Creator within the infinitely abundant warmth of His love than a perceived by the senses physical place, located in the three-dimensional convention of time and space.

As conventional as any form of the common perception of reality might seem, this type of convention, so usual and helpful among material beings, is even more present and necessary among purely immaterial entities. This whole world we live in and usually take for granted is a series of limitations and rules that keep the cosmic game of entities and spirits regulated and balanced whether they carry a material vessel or not. One could say that since Eden is a condition instead of a physical place, Eden was within Adam and not Adam within Eden.

Regarding the troubling question of the cause that led man to his fall from the divine grace, the answer has to do with why any evil exists in the first place on any level of being and existence. Evil can manifest itself in many ways; as spiritual energy, as a repulsive deformity in the overall perfection of the cosmos, as a way of thinking and examining the world, and, lastly, as vice, temptation of the flesh and vile instinct. Thus it can lead man astray, forcing him to pollute his bodily vessel, robbing him of any sense of purity and loving connection to any other person. It can actually sever the bond even with the cosmos as a whole. How can indeed any theologian or layman explain the coexistence of both attributes in the Supreme Being of beings, God’s knowledge of all things with God’s unblemished goodness, having experienced at first hand the presence of evil especially alarming in this century of

rampantly advancing technology?

Even though this question has been dealt with in a previous essay, an alternative view wholly aligned with the last one will be examined in this post for reasons of clarity.

God created the world according to His infinite perfection; therefore, the world was a perfectly pure state of being filled with beauty, truth, and goodness, in sort an expression of the love emanating from the Father as does light from the brilliant life-giving warmth of the material sun making life on this small planet possible and abundant. However, even in a perfect world, there are attributes and elements in our being that may complement or contradict one another. As they say, too much of a good thing can become unpleasant. If balance and proper measure are not preserved within the cosmos, wonderful and valuable attributes within the creation nullify one another, leading to a chasm, a shadowy, abysmal void within the creation of the Monad, the divine consciousness above and beyond anything limited human beings can perceive, comprehend or imagine.

Let’s use an analogy to make things simple. In the natural world, water and fire coexist and are both extremely useful and invaluable for life. Yet, when they come in close contact without man’s guidance, if the fire is too intense, the water will change form; if the water is too plentiful, the fire will be extinguished, as the flame of a candle left in the rain.

If this is a generally accepted truth regarding the physical world, how much more so it would be for the world of spirits if one keeps in mind the fact that the spiritual world is the fundamental plane of existence and that the world of flesh and matter is only a reflection of this highest realm of Godly Glory.

God had given to the archangel that later became the prince of lies the ability to experience joyful admiration for God’s infinite might and glory. He had also given him freedom to regulate this admiration according to the best interest of all creation and his fellow angels. God, our Lord and Creator, doesn’t need the admiration of lesser beings, yet He offers them the ability to glorify, pray and feel genuine humility and awe before His Might and Wisdom to bring them closer to Him.

Every time we revere and express our Love for God with genuine humility, we become elevated spiritually, hence closer to His unparalleled Infinite perfection, above and beyond all infinities.

One of the most severe sources of wickedness on this earth is arrogance, the main culprit for the falling out of grace of both angels and men. When we allow arrogance to infiltrate our being, we become more prone to indulge in destructive towards others and self-destructive behaviors.

A word a bit overused recently is narcissism, yet it targets the root of the problem.

Envy and arrogance are indeed attributes so wicked in nature that they’ve led to the fall of the greatest and most loved among the archangels. The same sin led later to man’s fall from

Eden.

We build a complex, omnivorous Ego to protect our essence, and gradually it becomes

a prison for the child in us. After all, medieval lords built motes and great castles to withstand the attacks of the enemies’ catapults. Yet, those same castles became tombs for them in case of siege and led them to suffer a horrific death by starvation, sickness, and pestilence.

In essence, the human Ego works the same way. It is formed by trauma of some form or the other, forcing us to seek refuge, away from our spiritual essence, towards the world of matter. We misplace the center of our being from its most profound base in the nucleic world of the eternal present of our essence, all the more towards outer locations such as spirit connected to energy, soul connected to emotion and aesthetic, mind connected to thought and truth and body connected to survival and pleasure related with the five senses.

This three-dimensional plane that we consider the one true reality is not where the first Eden was located. It is rather the hospital for our sick consciousness and psyche, a place similar to Eden but alas deprived of the comforting closeness we had in Eden with the Being of beings and Lord of Hosts. It is even more so for those of us that have severed the bond with the divine essence within and have, consequently, gradually fallen into slavery and servitude to the flesh, the body, and through it to the material existential void.

Trauma serves only to create a barrier in our memory to discourage us from being reunited with the wholeness of our being to our pure entity. Our essence faces many forms of trauma when it descends from the heights of existence to the hostile level of what we call matter.

They range from purely spiritual attacks of dark energies and emotional and aesthetic attacks to our sense of beauty, mental assaults of absurdity, instability, and madness, distorting our sense of reality and hindering our path to the discovery of the highest truth of our cosmos, to the blatant abuse and/or neglect of the physical vessel we call body.

When humans reach a point in their life where they can consider nothing other pleasurable but the satisfaction of their most vile instinctive and animalistic side, in short, the pleasant instinctive experiences of the senses, deprived entirely even from the acknowledgment that anything high, pure, deep or immaterial can even exist and when all that remains of the being they once were is a hungry, fleshy beast seeking more and more vulgarity, lustful vice and unwholesome habits to feel alive, they can be sure that they are in existential trouble.

Death is not an end but an awakening, and in this case, that awakening will be a time to face the truth about the life we have lived. It’s our essence that will judge and possibly condemn us because we have lost the way to our inner child and consequently to our true purpose, the reason we were given flesh, to begin with.

We tend to treat the life we live as a playground of pleasure, yet this is somewhat misleading. There is nothing wrong with enjoying the pleasant, humorous, childlike pleasures of this world. Yet, some experiences can lead us astray in many ways, tempting us with quick bliss to distract us inadvertently from our most profound purpose in this world.

As the title of this post implies, the journey of a man in this world is a dangerous one full of hardship and trials from the innocence of Adam and from being as children regarding our inner structure to the level of willing obedience to God and conscious purity following the example of Christ.

That means that our ultimate goal during our earthly life should be to direct our efforts towards becoming the likeness of God by following the narrow way as Christ revealed it through His infinitely wise teaching and the great deed of self-sacrifice, offering us His eternal example to follow, an exemplary life of truth and unimaginably great service to all of humanity.

Our existential journey should have been from the beginning an inner transformation from the innocent Adams we were in our childhood, in the pure inner world of a peaceful Eden, into parts of the body of Christ, willingly obedient to our Heavenly Father enjoying the fulfillment of paradise.

In essence, to evolve from living images of our Lord to willing godly children bearing voluntarily and consciously His Likeness of perfection and wisdom. However, as we all know, very few find this path, and even fewer have the inner strength to withstand all the trials and temptations till the death of their biological vessel.

To sum things up, it is image to likeness, innocence to fulfillment, Adam to Jesus the essence of our inner spiritual journey on this earth. It is utterly impossible to be born in this world as a human being with a biological body and avoid being tempted by evil of one form or another.

It is equally impossible to grow up even in the most normal families with the most normal parents – if such a condition exists – without being burdened by a significant amount of trauma. Having lost to some extent the inner light, the parents fail to appreciate the heavenly gift given to them hidden deep in their crying infant.

This baby is a little savior coming to assist and bless its parents with the gift of divine light and true life. It comes to remind them of the power we have to rediscover the one eternal moment containing all eternity, a new birth of spirit that can offer us a new view of this whole plane of existence.

The child lives in a moment within, a spark in it able to ignite the whole planet and lead it to be engulfed by the warmth of God’s tender love. Eden was a garden of variety and brilliant color. Yet we’ve lost the sense of how precious color and variety are, playful, ecstatic joy and beauty in a state of innocence, in the loving embrace of God, in the Father’s immense acceptance and love.

Christ offered with his teaching a way for man to reclaim this beauty by opening the narrow path leading to the blissful eternity of the one true being, the Father of all other beings from the most humble of beasts to the wisest and most perfect archangel in the service of God.

It’s through our inner child that this paradise is offered to us. If we cannot live peacefully in this world, with love or at least tolerance for our fellow human beings, if we have drained this planet with our selfishness and greed, by what right can we claim the new world our Lord has to offer?

Through purity and enjoyment of the simple yet beautiful things of this limited plane of existence, things we often take for granted, our God can and will reveal Himself to us. We need to be reacquainted with our forgotten love for truth, beauty, and justice.

A child lives for the joy of exploration, searching for knowledge and truth, the playful world of imagination. Injustice and lies are the awful ungodly lessons of this world. Every new birth signifies the coming of one more messenger carrying Our Lord’s message of love to us.

Let’s not close our heart’s door to this little messenger. In our own best interest, it is to be reborn in essence, turn with humility and gratitude to our maker and ask him to take the burden of fear, guilt, and wickedness from our shoulders and guide our steps towards the true light. Light is energy, filled with colors. He can open our blind eyes and remind our soul of its place of origin.

So let’s treat children with love and respect. They may be the last chance this world has for salvation. Thank you, and God bless.

Children of Love

Matthew 19:14

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Matthew 18:3

And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the Kingdom of heaven.

We live in a society that often appears neglectful or, even worse, abusive to children. All adults were once children, and one would expect that due to this shared experience, a more mature pedagogy, highly respectful towards children, would have been cultivated throughout the centuries.

To our extreme misfortune, however, as time progresses, we come to the painful realization that society’s attitude becomes all the more disturbingly and dangerously destructive towards the sensitive psyche of any young person entering this utterly limited four-dimensional plane of consciousness we perceive as matter.

Suppose we deem our Lord, God, and Savior is the eternally bright spiritual Sun whence from all experience and existence emanates. In that case, children are His spiritual rays coming into this material vessel we perceive as the biological body to guide and assist us in the process of rediscovering and reclaiming our very essence. They come to remind us of the true path and mode of being we gradually lose contact with as life progresses.

The material vessel we call ‘the body’ with all its biological and cognitive faculties is restricting and limiting, a mold shaping and misshaping, forming and deforming our spirit the way a glass transfers its shape to liquids. Children come as entities of pure existential and cosmic light to illuminate and revitalize this world. Yet, as a society, we often treat them disrespectfully, neglecting and bypassing their emotional needs as a mere nuisance.

This attitude is profoundly destructive for children and our common fate as fundamental units and representatives of humanity. In a sense, a parent mistreating his offspring and devaluating the gift of life an innocent, wonderful child comes into this world to offer resembles a drowning person resisting its rescuer, or even worse, trying to drown him too.

The fact that babies, infants, and toddlers are often unable to verbalize and externalize their needs or the fact that they seem “cute” to an adult does not diminish their vast importance and value. They are brilliant entities of light coming to free us from the oppressive bond of sin and the barren darkness of our existence, deprived of the divine force of love that is the source of our consciousness and the more profound meaning and cause of our presence in this world.

It is permissible or at least justifiable in a sense for a parent to be somewhat unprepared and not fully aware of the unique value of the child. Still, it is an affront to the Lord to abuse, scandalize, or mistreat this little angelic representative of God’s generosity, love, and mercy towards us.

One also needs to stay reminiscent of the fact that children are not just a source of pure energy and light for this world but little heaven-sent entities created in the inner likeness of our heavenly Father. This view does not in any sense imply that we need to cage our children in an attempt to protect them. It is rather a stimulus encouraging us to find the ideal balance between protection and freedom, progressively advancing from the former stage to the latter, as the child develops into a fulfilled, amazing and unique person expressing its essence and serving its divine purpose.

According to Matthew 19:14, we see our Lord’s desire to bless and accept the children. He asks His disciples to stop hindering the young children from coming close to Him. Perhaps some think this event is not of major significance, and yet, examined under the scope of our Lord’s great mission, it will be proved a teaching of vast importance.

In essence, Jesus expresses the desire of the Father and Creator for His brilliant spiritual rays expressed in the material world in the form of bright new entities to ascend to the level of true being that Christ Himself represents. That does not imply that all children, even in an ideal world, can ascend to the state of divinity as some modern theories suggest. They can, however, become a true representation of our Lord, God and Creator in this barren material plane. They can realize all their hidden potential and revitalize the human consciousness through the expression of their unique essence, rendering them special and precious in the eyes of our Lord. In that sense, our Lord expresses God’s desire for the little person believing in Him to be allowed to transcend the values of this world and embrace the heavenly values of God’s divine Kingdom.

Often without realizing it, parents become agents of the worldly values that mislead and hinder us from embracing our deeper path, the unique path meant for us to externalize our deepest existential essence. It is often difficult for a parent to accept that his child can often teach him amazing things.

Children are not little containers meant to curry our inner burden, trauma, and pain. They are the true representatives of our Lord, coming to bring the sacred light of our Father back in our lives. They are not sacrificial lambs; they are healers and teachers. Unfortunately, many of us becoming parents are totally unprepared to accept the little angels into our lives with gratitude and the conscious knowledge that our children have the power, if we allow them, to reawaken us and assist us in the process of healing our trauma through the power of their inner connection with the source of love and life.

Let’s face it! Most of us were victimized to some extent, abused, and/or neglected throughout our lives, and many of us are in real danger of passing on our trauma to our children. If we do not consciously resist this desire, we will face the dire threat of existential damnation, and we will also drag our bright children sent by heaven to the same darkness and inner suffering that has plagued us.

One may be tempted to think that good intentions are enough to resist this urge to pass on our trauma. However, it is not that simple. Human beings are often manipulated by the ungodly system, material and worldly, and supernatural or spiritual. The sad fact is that this system does not give anything without pressuring a human being to make substantial existential compromises. One cannot expect to remain a decent, good, and honest person and at the same time enjoy freely and abundantly the benefits and comforts this unholy system has to offer.

Mark 8:36

What good is it for someone to gain the whole world yet forfeit their soul?

However, if we compromise, the cost is steep, and the penalty we will face is vast in comparison. Our soul is our true self, the person we come into this world to be. If one loses his very inner identity, then who will enjoy these coveted comforts, if not the fake demonic self that will be formed to fill the void that the absence of our true self leaves behind.

There is another equally grave aspect of the subject. If we yield to the vile urge to pass on any form of trauma, we will justify our own abuse and forfeit the right to be eternally compensated by our Lord. We will lose the right to request compensation for what we’ve been through or the just punishment of those that wronged us.

Matthew 18:6

If anyone causes one of these little ones–those who believe in me–to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

Luke 11:11

Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead?

The sad truth is that many parents give serpents to their children instead of fish in this day and age. That, of course, is metaphoric yet accurate. If a child requires love yet his parent hurts, neglects, and abuses it, it becomes painfully clear that he or she cannot in any sense be considered as a parent. On the contrary, the abusive parent needs to be viewed by the child itself and ideally by society too as the child’s enemy, a person deprived of the right to expect, let alone demand any form of respect from his or her victim.

The child must reject the abusive parent altogether for its own sake and the sake of its future offspring. If a child does not deny his abusive or neglectful parent, it is doomed to pass on the trauma to the next generation, and this quickly evolves into a vicious circle without end.

It would be helpful to mention that nowadays, humanity’s benefit is to reject the old values in favor of new, more viable ones to achieve a condition that will enable us to secure a future as a species on this planet.

Throughout the previous centuries, man was considered a number and a meaningless part of a mindless unintelligent mass destined to be controlled by a system favoring every sort of wickedness and evil. However, as time progresses, it becomes evident that, gradually, any form of occupation based on the mechanic execution of any task will be rendered obsolete with the rise of artificial intelligence. After all, what human being can do anything mechanic better than a machine? Our very mode and way of thinking are proving to lead our whole species to our extinction. In this sense, our very uniqueness will need to be cultivated and expressed to make us relevant for the humanity of the future.

It is necessary to point out that particular views expressing the idea that a merging of human beings with machines is inevitable and the only path to survival for the human race are most likely being promoted by specific ungodly centers of power and that one needs to be incredibly diligent to avoid misinformation and manipulation by the current prevalent and deeply nonspiritual system.

Another misleading idea promoted is that the only jobs with a future are related to programming, A. I., and generally modern advanced technology. That is a blatant deception with the sole purpose to hasten humanity’s degradation to a mechanic and organic form of intelligence deprived of a deeper mental, emotional, aesthetic, and spiritual dimension.

Of course, it isn’t easy in any way to abandon the belief that the intelligence quotient (I. Q.) is everything a person needs to survive and thrive on the material plane of existence. After all, it separated man from beast and allowed homo sapiens to make his life easier by creating progressively more advanced and evolved technology. However, this assumption is not entirely accurate. The logic we’ve built our entire existence on is based on antithesis, its main flaw. We feel we are free in thought and action when our mode of viewing, experiencing, and interacting with the world is, in essence, predetermined and constrained by this limited logic. We enjoy almost obsessively everything based on antithesis.

Let’s take chess, for example. This little square black and white world is the most characteristic game based on this black and white antithetical logic. On the other hand, we have alienated our experience from actually enjoying variety and uniqueness. Most often than not, we consider anything varying from the norm as a form of threat.

The type of these differences is irrelevant. As long as another person is different than us, we feel threatened. An intolerance regarding religion, creed, race, skin color, intelligence, emotional or otherwise, taste in music, differences in clothing and appearance, even at the subconscious level, make us doubt our own choices. The main culprit for this is precisely this type of logic on which we have based our technology, especially the leading and most dangerous of our creations: Artificial Intelligence (A.I.)

In the Old Testament, this limitation is considered to initiate the fall of man from God’s grace, the taste of the fruit of the tree of knowledge. Not any knowledge but precisely that of good and evil. If one thinks carefully about it, this fundamental distinction guides our whole life. We try to assess whether an action is good or evil, positive or negative, desirable or deplorable. Then we choose whether we will act based upon this distinction in a specific way.

Interestingly enough, this is an age where the path we chose often is the exact opposite of what we consider proper existentially. We do evil not out of weakness but by an unwholesome and vile attraction towards the forbidden. We act entirely oppositely than what our conscience dictates. We take a morbid and self-destructive pleasure from doing evil and depraved acts engrossed instead of discouraged by the idea of punishment heavenly or worldly.

That, of course, is not always the case. However, this mode of behavior slowly but surely becomes more prevalent than ever. We expose the younger generations to extreme virtual violence and vulgarity. That may seem harmless, but in fact, it exposes a young person’s soul to all forms of ugliness and separates it from the most sensitive and precious part of our inner life, the childlike dimension of our being, seeking pure and untainted beauty. It becomes unable to enjoy anything other than horror and wickedness of every sort and form. Then due to our spirit’s essential ability to externalize and form its reality into the three-dimensional plane of matter and flesh, this condition will surely manifest this violence as a real condition in that person’s life and endanger or even seal its eternal fate. When a young person engages in virtual violence, it deepens the gap between the inner poles of good and evil related to the human race’s existential fall from the grace of our Creator.

Unfortunately for humanity, for more than two thousand years, we’ve been unable to experience and feel the truth that was staring us right in the eye: that man is more than a biological machine destined for the consumption of earth’s resources. Man has an immaterial dimension and a mind able to find the truth beyond the constrictions of logic and is ordained for beauty and spiritual light.

Connection with God is more than simple faith to an immaterial force having created this world. It is a deep connection to the one and only Person of persons and Being of beings. To retain unity and coexistence with the ultimate truth, existential light, and profound energy of love emanating from the all-important Consciousness giving birth and forming our reality, we will need to be reunited and reconnected with our very essence and rediscover our divine mission in this world. Only when we transcend and ascend above and beyond inner division will we be able to be reunited with our Loving and all-powerful Father and Lord of Hosts, the ruler of every creative sentient force acting upon and constantly forming, reforming, and transforming the cosmos.

We need to reevaluate and reexamine our values and gaze within, directing our attention towards the immense and infinite essence, way beyond what we deem our identity and consciously accepted self. As long as the base upon which we build our life is not solid and true, our very being is at risk and danger of collapsing into an abysmal nothingness, empty, meaningless self-preservation in an endless hunt for superficial pleasure, dooming us into an eternity of painful separation from the one and only true Being.

True life’s path searches for the heavenly treasure, a most glorious form of experience and existence. Our inner child is constantly magnetized and drawn by this life that we can only achieve through unity with Christ, our Lord, King, and savior. But since this world is consciously bent on keeping us apart from this true path, it traumatizes us to force our inner child to withdraw. At the same time, what little part of our consciousness we manage to keep intact is directed towards a meaningless, void, and barren self-preservation, a survival that, even though thirsts for meaning, is utterly and conclusively deprived of substance and purpose.

That is why our Lord wishes little children to be allowed to come towards him. That doesn’t mean only the actual children but also the wounded child hidden into our grown body as a captive. Through unity with our Lord, only this child can express the deeper wondrous essence that we are to defend and express in this limiting level of consciousness, this fourth-dimensional plane that creates the illusion of space-time perceived by the conventions of primitive senses evaluated by a clumsy hindering logic.

Even though we deem all these experiences solid, they are nothing more than imperfect projections of an utterly insufficient view. A set of values governs them in a place of temptation, trial, and destiny of sorts that, if we do not remain vigilant, is finally leading to peril, doom, and inner decay.

So where lies our salvation if not in the seed we came as infants endowed with? That is the secret essence of man’s divine likeness to the Creative Force of cosmic awareness, Being of beings, High Creator of everything, and ultimate cause of the worlds, forming the unified, universal experience of existence for all forms of consciousness.

Learn to love and accept this child once again! This child is a teacher sent from heaven with infinite potential and worth. Through this child, you will rediscover Christ, the only path leading to the divine Author and Creator of cosmic and universal destiny, and of a perfect design for achieving conscious purity and ascension to a level of utter fulfillment and beauty.

Thank you.

What God expects from his children both young and old

After the interesting reactions I’ve had to my latest post “Christian faith and children” I’ve decided to express my whole concept on the matter a bit more extensively.

I’ve actually managed to provoke and enrage with a single post two devout evangelical Christians and a fervent atheist at the same time. That event has to be recorded in some way, because I don’t think anyone else can manage two such feats so effortlessly and simultaneously.

It doesn’t hurt one to have a certain sense of humor about oneself. Anyway, though I’m certain the Christian gentlemen won’t believe it, I like them both even if they don’t like me in return.  As for the atheist, I think he’s a highly intelligent, incredibly polite and nice man and I’ve really enjoyed our discussion.

You can view these discussions on my page “Granny’s haunted house” in the comment section underneath the specific post, but I must warn you there were some rather impolite and rude things said from both sides in the discussion with the two Christians and the whole thing is not for the faint of heart.

However you are free to read what was said at your own risk and peril.

And now let’s get serious about what Jesus said one must do to be saved and why he said it.

I’ll give it in the form of a list though I’m not a big fan of lists. I hate them actually, but I’ll do it, only in order for it to be more comprehensible and easy to understand.

1. Be like children.

Mathew  18:1-8  Who is the greatest, Mathew 19:13-15  Jesus blesses little children, Luke 9: 46-48  Who is the greatest, Mark 10:13 -16  Jesus blesses little children etc.

But how exactly are children? Innocent, imaginative, playful and most importantly HAPPY, when left alone and not being oppressed by their parents, society’s precepts, fixed labels and this whole system bent upon eliminating innocence in all its forms.

2. Don’t serve money, don’t seek self glorification and power of this world or worldly knowledge but instead seek spiritual heavenly treasures, be humble at heart and poor in spirit.

That’s a part of Jesus’s whole reconstruction of the system of values forced upon us by this soul-devouring machine we call society.

a) First regarding money and riches:

Mathew 19:16-23,  Mark 10:17-23  Jesus counsels the rich young ruler “with God all things are possible”.

Luke 12:13-21 the parable of the rich fool

Luke 16:19-30 the rich man and Lazarus.

And many more.

But why Christ asks us not to be greedy and not to serve money? Because greed makes us unhappy. No matter how much money you have, it’s never enough and you always fool yourself in thinking that if you had ten times as much you’d be happy. When you achieve it, you are still unsatisfied. Because money enslaves us to this material world and we lose ourselves in the process. So that’s the core of these teachings. Once again man’s happiness and nothing else.

b) Now let’s examine the self glorification and humility subject

Mathew 20:25-28 Greatness is serving

Luke 14:7-11 take the lowly place…. for whoever exalts himself will be humbled and he who humbles himself will be exalted.

Luke 18:9-14 The Pharisee and the tax collector.

John 13:1-12 Jesus washes the disciples feet and many more.

Why Jesus wants us to be humble instead of arrogant and conceited? How many famous men and women haven’t died horrible deaths due to addictions to pills and alcohol? If this type of fame had made anyone truly fulfilled, all those people wouldn’t have destroyed themselves. Fame and arrogance is a burden and when you throw it away and do not seek or need it, you become happy.

So there we are again. Jesus asked us to be humble for our own happiness and fulfillment and not to oppress us or force us into anything we don’t want to do.

c) Finally we’ll examine worldly knowledge in opposition to the inner truth that emanates from our relation to God.

Mathew 5:3 blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Mathew 11:25 I thank you father that you have hidden this things from the wise and the prudent and revealed them to babes.

That also has to do with the first part «Be like children». And let’s not forget that Jesus chose simple uneducated fishermen and craftsmen to become his disciples and that he accused the learned scribes and pharisees of blindness and hypocrisy and that Judas Iscariot, the only one educated, was the one who betrayed him.

Why Jesus does advise us against seeking earthly knowledge and encourages us to hold on to the simple and pure view of a child. Because earthly knowledge often blinds us to the deeper truths that actually help us see, beyond the outer veil of injustice, the beauty and justice of the world that is hidden from us by this ungodly system. That means to return to the happiness we lost when we fell from the state of complete unity with God. So in a  few words he advises us to do what we have to do in order to be HAPPY once again.

3. live in the present moment and enjoy it, being spiritually reborn every single day of our lives.

Mathew 6:25-34 Do not worry.

Jesus in this passage tells us not to worry about the future, since the father who provides food for the birds and clothing for the flowers will most certainly provide for us, his beloved children.

Mathew 5:43-48 Love your enemies.

Mathew 6:12 and 14 (The model prayer). Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly father will also forgive you.

So by means of forgiveness we can free ourselves of the past. Someone free from worries about  the future and not holding grudges against others for what may have done to him in the past, free from guilt and despair, is free to live in the moment, enjoy the sun the taste of fruit, the scent of flowers and each little pleasure of life  in general in the present day and moment. He becomes free from the bondage of linear time and he can be born again every moment of his life. Why Jesus asks us to do that? You’ve guessed it! In order for us to be HAPPY.

4. Do not judge.

Mathew 7:1-6 Judge not, that you be not judged.

In other words do not put labels on others, do not accuse them, and allow them to be the best human beings they can without bashing them with words or actions. Do not fill them with guilt and actually accept them the way they are.

Why does Jesus asks us to do that? Because, when you judge, you only see wickedness and evil in others. You feel surrounded and trapped in a circle of maliciousness. You see imperfection in everyone and everything and therefore you become unhappy. To conclude, that too is expected from us, to help us become truly and uncompromisingly HAPPY. Seeing everyone as a brother helps us free ourselves from the chess-player logic that forces us to see only white and black pawns and reunites us with our innocence and purity of heart.

Putting our faith in Christ as the person above all other persons and true and unique representative of God the Father on earth allows us to believe his words and of course be HAPPY.

Now let’s examine Paul that my evangelical Christian friend is so fond of.

Ephesians 2:1-8 By grace through faith.

Here Paul tells us we are not saved through works but through faith and the grace of God.

As a matter of fact my evangelical Christian friend asked how many works must we do in order to be saved. He asked me to tell him the mechanics, as he called it.

The answer to this question is actually quite simple:

We only need to do one but do it constantly. Be truly HAPPY and fulfilled, allow that happiness to spread to others and feel good while doing it. That’s all there is to it.

How can anyone make anyone else happy, if he isn’t happy himself to begin with? How can someone love and be grateful to God, when he secretly hates his life and he is miserable and unhappy. That’s the one work we have to do to please God if one can say with a straight face that being happy can actually be considered a “work”.

Besides Paul himself answers this question 1 Corinthians 13-13

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Faith, hope and love that summarize the whole of Christ’s teaching and is the essence of it. We need faith in order to believe in Christ, follow his teaching and become happy through the way of life he embodies, we need hope so that we remain positive and HAPPY and believe that happiness is possible for us to begin with, and finally we need love in order to spread that Happiness to people around us. It doesn’t get any simpler than this.

I’d like to close this post with Paul’s touching definition of love:

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears.

When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

The time travelling senses

Have you ever wondered how much magic is hidden in our forgotten childhood experiences, locked somewhere at the back of our memory. Often we are amazed at the way a certain smell or taste takes us decades back, to a time of carefree play and innocence, when everything felt right and fair and beautiful.

Mind you I’m not talking from the lofty position of someone who has never known sadness and loss as a child. I’ve had a difficult and lonely childhood and an even harder adolescence affected by a severe psychological trauma and a weight problem, that I’ve developed as a result,  but still there were also good times and often I’ve felt travelling back to those happy times by a story, a smell, a taste or a sound. One doesn’t need a time machine to travel through time. All one needs is one’s senses that are the gate keepers of this magnificent treasury of childhood memories and feelings.

Why are we unable to recall every happy moment of our childhood? The reason is not as obvious as one may think. It’s not like any old memory we’d rather forget. It is the deep feeling of loss our true self has, because we have buried it, the deep fear of our current adult self that it will eventually realize this rejection of the true self, of the little child world builder he once was, of the divine spark he came to this world with and rejected to adopt the values of an inhumane cruel system, centered around material wealth one can only acquire by exchanging his soul’s deepest desires for beauty, unconditional love and glorious awe before life’s true greatness and wonder, that prevent us from remembering.

That is the main reason why we must be extra observant and mindful of our own children’s deepest needs. We need to remain vigilant and not allow negativity and darkness enter the inner sanctum of the child’s soul. There is much garbage out there offered to children as food for their spirit, soul, mind and body.

I’m not some sort of fanatic vegetarian type. I think everything should be included in a developing child’s diet, but food must have a certain quality and not undermine the little person’s well being.

It is the same with the spirit and soul. The religious and general ideas we offer to the child have to be carefully examined before it is forced to embrace them. The pictures and art, the books and the music  the child consumes need to be nourishing for his or her soul pleasing the senses and offering a sense of meaning. Remember the child hasn’t yet developed the walls an adult raises between him and the world and it is extremely vulnerable.

The answer to this is not to order the child to “toughen up”, to hit back and be hard to survive but rather to make our child truly strong enriching its life with beauty and pleasant emotions. He or she needs to have gathered such treasures of beauty that the ugliness of this world is not powerful enough to undermine or extinguish. The flame must remain lit so we must demand of creators to produce valuable and constructively beautiful work for the young.

Personally I think that, when something is unsuitable for or harmful to a child it is equally harmful to an adult. It’s not enough to search for beauty. We must demand it from the creators and accept nothing less by boycotting ugliness and supporting beauty in films, books and media in general.

The works that need to be produced for us must be both aesthetically pleasing and deeply meaningful. We may not have claimed such quality for ourselves, while we were young, but we damn well owe it to our children and should not just accept everything the system advertises and promotes, in order to condition us to be unsensitized to ugliness, cruelty and injustice, that seems to prevail in this world of ours.

Remember the child’s current experiences are what he or she will nostalgically recollect and draw strength from, when he/she is older. So now is the time to give it beauty by the truckload, so that he has the ability that we as children didn’t have to remain innocent, free and fullfiled.

Thank you for your patience.

Christian faith and children

I wouldn’t normally bring faith into this discussion, since I’m well aware, that many people are agnostic, atheists and non believers and personally I have the greatest respect for all views and accept everyone’s choices.

However for those of us with faith, whether we are Greek or Russian Orthodox, Catholics, Protestants of every denomination or members of another Christian dogma, I think we can agree on this one thing: The teaching of Christ is the most brilliant truth in our faith, regardless of the specific dogma we consider ourselves to be part of.

I have to bring this up, since I don’t think we take it seriously enough. It was our Lord who said that, in order to enter the kingdom of God, one must become like an innocent child. There are many passages in scripture, where Jesus refers to children as the proper state of man and I think we must devote to those words a little more contemplation.

He didn’t consider them immature or annoying, but he asked his disciples to let them come to him. I don’t want to quote specific passages, since I have written a whole essay οn this subject and to do so further would be redundant.

Be it as it may, we live in a world with little to no respect for innocence. We try to enforce onto children our own limited reasoning the so called common sense – well  it’s more common than it is sense – by means of discipline and constant pressure, when we would be better off, if we showed them respect, and learned from the purity of their mind and the brightness of their feelings.

Yes, the children can save this world, not only because they represent our future, but mainly because they are the healthy cells of humanity and they come precisely for this reason, to teach us and turn us back into living empathic human beings, with the capacity to love, accept and forgive.

Either we accept the word of Christ as true or we don’t. However for those of you with doubt I feel the need to mention that it’s kind of a giveaway that he comes to say things with the sole purpose to heal our existential and spiritual sickness, to bring together our broken pieces, split asunder by our knowledge of good and evil described in the old testament.

What’s wrong with knowledge, you’ll ask. Nothing really, but the Truth is higher than any material knowledge or skill we may develop. Knowledge helps us mostly with matters of survival and makes our lives easier, but it’s the TRUTH and only the truth that deals with our very existential core. So the Lord tells us not to judge, unless we wish to be judged ourselves, by the measure of how true we’ve stayed to his original teaching.

That’s not some kind of ethical mumbo jumbo but it addresses the core of the matter. If you don’t judge other people, you stop dividing this world into a black and white chess board with good and evil pawns, and become free to love the difference in others and see their colorful essence, that makes them unique and special CHILDREN of God.

So to put our children in the center of our lives and rediscover our own hurt and oppressed inner child is our true salvation and, no matter what else we do, pray or partake in mysteries if this teaching is not followed properly and taken seriously we simply haven’t done enough.

It’s the child who becomes our true pastor, priest and teacher and can be of tremendous assistance to our constant fight for perfection and fulfillment. So please listen to your children, let them guide YOU, for a change. After all, for centuries adults are trying to make their children identical to them, and enforce this sick system on them and where exactly has that led us? To the brink of destruction that’s where. Why not stir up things a bit and give this system of despair a hard time, when trying to engulf our children. Let THEM teach us. Why would that be so terrible, to learn from your own child? After all, how much we have left to lose?

The mechanical artificial way of life advances. What other hope we have, if it is not our children with their living colourful souls, to get out of this in one piece and rediscover the only path leading straight to happiness. If their light becomes darkness, what else do we have to lean on? They are the light of our little worlds. Do we really want to pass through this life blind and fearful of every shadow the system conjures up to keep us frightened and alone?

I do hope I didn’t exhaust you with this post, but I felt it was time for this to be said. I hope soon to publish a book dealing with all those issues in greater depth.  Bye for now.

The Eden of the child

How happy seems the child in the beauty and amazement of his magical world of new experiences, wonders and miracles?

We tend to take things for granted, but the child lives for the colorful, the different and the unexpected. How much can we remember and rediscover through the child’s pure enthusiasm for the little things of this world. And what a responsibility it is to be a parent, when you know that the child views you as a sort of earthly god on whom his very life depends.

How important is every single little action of the parents for the child! That little teacher who comes into our lives to help us rediscover the joyful and fulfilling Eden of innocence? Yet how unprepared one feels for such a responsibility, realizing that from now on every word of his or hers matters?

What is then the true duty of the parent to the child? He has to nurture it not only physically but also mentally , emotionally and spiritually. He needs to guide it to truth, beauty and spiritual fulfillment. But how many of us really realize this, when faced with the decision to bring a new perfect human being in this world. Our black and white world of routine can be filled with vibrant color, but how can our little teacher help us, when we refuse to be helped? When he or she feels like she’s viewed as immature, as less intelligent or powerful than adults? How unfair for the little teacher who possesses the ultimate power, the power of dreams and fantasy of his world-building imagination, that can breathe life into inanimate objects and find value in the smallest most insignificant things for us adults.

When the child can journey with his or her imagination to the most magical lands, believe that the impossible is feasible and that dreams can become a reality, the child is a little god in his or her own respect, since he or she can fill our lives with joy and unlock the door that leads to the true Eden, wherefrom we all come to this world.

Eden lives in the soul and it’s not just a lush green garden well tended by dutiful angels. We were once in this Eden of true experience. A single smell, a song can awaken memories of it, but what’s the use when we don’t let our little teachers reintroduce us to this dream-world of our childhood, of the time when, even in the harshness of life, we could believe in the triumph of justice, the power of miracles and to the goodness that lies dormant in every soul, even to those seemingly most deserving of doom? How much we need this unique power these days, when cruelty seems to become the norm in our lives.     Why not let the children become the little captains of our life’s wandering boat in the stormy sea of everyday problems and lack of empathy?   Let’s fill ourselves with the treasures offered to us by giving to the child its true place in our lives. Everyone wins. The child finds the love it needs and deserves and we get reacquainted with our true self the little spark that shines brightly in the deepest depths of our being.

The Price the Child has to pay.

When a whole system is battling against innocence, it’s difficult to say which social factor is the most harmful for the a child’s soul, or psyche as we say in Greek, the family or the school environment with the set of values they impose, which slowly but surely is constructed like a thick medieval dungeon around a living child, in order to turn it into a living dead grownup, who lives for his primal instincts striving to survive but caring not whether he does or does not exist.

This set of restrictive values with financial success at the top and existential fulfillment at the bottom, with appearances playing a major role in every aspect of our lives, while the very substance of our entities is provocatively and constantly being ignored, is a detrimental plague on our true purpose. That’s a delicate but extremely serious issue and our dealing with it cannot be postponed any longer.
Why does our system cruelly and harshly enforced upon the child is so sick to its core and, if it is, what have the grownups, the mature adults truly done to prevent it from engulfing the whole humanity.

Children are the healthy biological cells of the universal being and, if we want to direct our very humanity to the life giving essence from which we arose, instead of the agonizing existential death we all must suffer, if we continue to walk upon this crooked path of dilemmas and moral choices, we have to protect them with every mean available at our disposal.

How is it that we do not see that our only salvation is the youthful uncorrupted being of every age from the new born baby to the young adult, when we ourselves, instead of following the one and only road that leads to fulfillment, unbreakably connected to our true will and the divine guidance, we are doomed to orchestrate our own extinction not only biologically as a species, but also as valuable spiritual beings and foundational entities, intricately connected with the universal consciousness as the cosmic crowning jewels of the material and immaterial creation.

The books I strive to write have the sole purpose of underlying and promoting dream and magic in our lives, while at the same time postponing the unavoidable corruption of the human being in a system that blinds us to beauty and deafens us to truth. That is my purpose and I hope that I am successful at it.

Through music, sounds, stories and images one cannot only reawaken the soul so that it is reconnected with a desire for beauty, but can also go deeper to the very substance of our being and bring us back to the life giving connection to the essence which flows like life giving water in the barren deserts of our lives.

Children and Mirrors

Dear parents,

Have you ever paused for a while your busy schedule to think about how a child forms a sense of identity, by looking at his/her reflection in a mirror or a shiny surface? Or is he/she?

I personally think that mirrors are undoubtedly the first object that forms that invisible but unfortunately very powerful barrier between the child, who encounters it, and his/her inner sense of identity.

Please, allow me to explain, in greater depth, my view. Whether we remember it or not, we all come into this world with an inner sense of a higher self, a magical identity so to speak, known only to us. By “inner self” I mean that secret but powerful awareness of oneself from within, which is almost divine in nature and that we all come armed with into the cosmic awareness.

We enter this material realm with a tiny world builder present inside us. A little wonder-maker, a miracle worker and creator of sorts with a mind mainly bent on performing his own unique miracles and discovering beautiful, dreamlike paradises on this earth with his invisible magical telescope.

Because, how can one describe a major achievement such as when the child utters his/her first word or manages to walk for the first time, if not as a great unimaginable miracle or when he/she tastes a pear, a grape or a cherry for the first time discovering for him/herself its glorious substance expressed through its immediately distinguishable odour and flavour. What a great discovery it is for a child the nearby playground filled with all kinds of amusing distractions!
That playground is his/her Eden, where innocence is the most beautiful ever blooming tree of joy and pleasure. No harm can befall the child, as long as he/she does not deny her innocence. No one can steal it or undermine it with any action, as long as the child remains united with this inner spark of self who is able to experience different kinds of beauty and his/her senses are open to everything new wondrous and unexpected.

But what exactly does the mirror that is so detrimental to the child’s psyche? What is the first thing that separates us from the Eden of innocence, if not the mirror, the sole object able to introduce us to an alternative self, a self utterly tied to a specific face and outer form that lies to us and forces us to accept it as the only real self we have? This lie of outer appearance completely opposes the unrestrained inner conscience, with which we come endowed into this world by acceptable labels and convenient boxes.

Imagine a world where no one would have a sense of this outer self. It would be a world of clear entities and almost angelic beings, eternal children filled with the bliss of innocent delight, by their inner, greater more divine part. Narcissism, selfishness, vanity and every harmful emotion related with them would have been a thing of the past on such a world.

The true consequences though of such an acquaintance with our outer appearance and consequently the denial of our inner knowledge of who and what we are go far deeper and are far more harmful than any well-intentioned parent can possibly imagine, because the chasm that forms between appearance and true self leaves the door open for even greater inner conflicts such as the antithesis between truth and lie, good and evil, past and future. Our little Adams and Eves are now free to eat from the tree of every conceivable antithesis and lose forever their compass that points to true happiness.

My advice to the contemporary parent is to delay this process of inner division for as long as possible, by not encouraging the child to identify with his reflection too early. On the contrary one should more eagerly encourage every inner sense of self by saying to them “You are the feelings you feel, not a mere reflection on something that breaks with a mere pebble or a tiny stone”.
By slowing the procedure of the creation of division and keeping the child for as long as it is possible in touch with his naturally awakened and sensitive senses and not with his/her appearance a parent will manage to protect the child’s humanity and the spark that offers light to his/her whole being.

Protecting the child’s inner vision

In this blog post I would like to discuss children and how much we tend to do or not to do in fact to preserve their inner vision. Surely no one would intentionally physically blind their child! Most of us love our children and want the best for them but few of us know how important it is to cultivate our children’s inner vision. I mean of course their ability to see the magical colors that only the soul can discern and see. This can surely best be achieved by letting the child get in touch with enchanting stories and tastefully illustrated fairytales.

Now the truth is that the aesthetic of television often serves exactly the opposite. It promotes blindness in every possible way; it blinds our mind to the truth and our soul to beauty and unfortunately also distorts our natural taste and makes us addicts to ugliness. I would like to ask each and every one of the parents out there to protect their children’s sensitivity and not only see to it that they are provided with an education – sometimes somewhat superficial – but also to cultivate the child’s psyche by giving him or her the means to discover a universe of beauty that only great literature and art can offer.

Now is our chance to give our children wings and preserve the freedom with which they are naturally endowed!
